Use our private wine tour service, Pinot Car Wine Tours, to experience the beauty and unique culture in Oregon’s world-renowned wine country, where every visitor walks away with lifetime memories. Enjoy breakfast in the fully-stocked, remodeled kitchen. Kick back and relax in the open living space with hardwood floors, a personal piano, and a record player! Live it up on the back patio and have an outdoor barbeque in the summer evenings. You won't want to miss out on making those craft cocktails. Enjoy a soothing bath in the claw foot tub, and retreat to bed with luxurious bedding. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time at Ruth's Cottage. The attention to detail when designing this rental makes it a truly special spot to serve as home while exploring Oregon's Wine Country.
Ruth's Cottage offers a large queen bedroom with a vintage four-poster bed and a private en-suite bathroom. The home's TV lounge room offers a Roku streaming device and attached half bathroom. An additional double sofa sleeper is available to host up to two more guests. Best for children or one adult. When the Cottage is booked for four guests, we make up the sofa bed and provide additional towels, and amenities for all to enjoy.
The Cottage comes equipped with a washer and dryer that is available for guest use. We welcome guests traveling with up to two small dogs. The extremely private backyard is a lovely space to retreat to on those warm summer evenings. Now offering a new Weber propane BBQ and patio set in the summer of 2021!
Family items (baby gate, high chair, pack 'n play), yoga mats, air mattresses, and outdoor games (bocce ball, croquet) are available to rent upon request.

Our team is committed to following all CDC and WHO guidelines regarding the use of PPE and Cleaning Equipment. You will also have a contactless self-check-in upon arrival.*

Excellent location in Carlton. We we able to walk to bakery, restaurants, convenience store, wine tastings, and taverns. The house has stylish furnishings, with Boze speaker for listing to music, piano, large TV. Spacious. Outside patio is private as well as the yard. Kitchen is well equipped.

We stayed in Ruths Cottage for our anniversary and it was perfect. The space had a great mix of classic architecture and modern touches. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was really comfortable (with great black out shades.) Its only a block to town where there is wine and spirit tasting, coffee, a bakery and fantastic restaurants. We will be back!

Cute cottage right in Carlton. Lots of wineries, restaurants and shops in this tiny town. Great place for a wine country weekend.

- Additional guest fee of $50/person/night for over two (2)
- Dog Fee of $100 per dog. Maximum of 2 dogs.
- At the time of booking, we require a deposit of 50% of the reservation total. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancelation Period: 30 days prior to arrival. If you cancel before 30 days, the total cost will be refunded to you (with the exception of the reservation fee). If the reservation is canceled within that time period, it is non-refundable.

Carlton is a cute, wine country town, located in the Yamhill Carlton AVA. If you like the small town feel, you will love it here.
