Our mission is to offer high-quality hospitality to Willamette Valley tourists while coordinating with the best local partners to maximize guest experiences with our customizable concierge services, and hand-selected amenities. Use our private wine tour service, Pinot Car Wine Tours, to experience the beauty and unique culture in Oregon’s world-renowned wine country, where every visitor walks away with lifetime memories. Enjoy breakfast in the fully-stocked, remodeled kitchen. Kick back and relax in the open living space with hardwood floors, a personal piano, and a record player! Live it up on the back patio and have an outdoor barbeque in the summer evenings. You won't want to miss out on making those craft cocktails. Enjoy a soothing bath in the claw foot tub, and retreat to bed with luxurious bedding. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time at Ruth's Cottage. The attention to detail when designing this rental makes it a truly special spot to serve as home while exploring Oregon's Wine Country.
Ruth's Cottage offers a large queen bedroom with a vintage four-poster bed and a private en-suite bathroom. The home's TV lounge room offers a Roku streaming device and attached half bathroom. An additional double sofa sleeper is available to host up to two more guests. Best for children or one adult. When the Cottage is booked for four guests, we make up the sofa bed and provide additional towels, and amenities for all to enjoy.
The Cottage comes equipped with a washer and dryer that is available for guest use. We welcome guests traveling with up to two small dogs. The extremely private backyard is a lovely space to retreat to on those warm summer evenings. Now offering a new Weber propane BBQ and patio set in the summer of 2021!
Family items (baby gate, high chair, pack 'n play), yoga mats, air mattresses, and outdoor games (bocce ball, croquet) are available to rent upon request.

We spent a week at Ruths cottage with our dog and had a great time. The house was lovely. The kitchen was well supplied and we made dinner a few times while there. It was easy access to walk to Carleton and all the wine/shops/restaurants there.

What a great Airbnb! Perfect location (just a few blocks from so many great restaurants etc), and so spacious. We loved the backyard and back patio, and the comfy master bedroom. Truly felt like a home away from home!

Our visit was solely to visit friends as we previously lived in Carlton. This is the perfect location for any visitor! We were right downtown with easy access to the main drag, good food, shopping and the park. This property was comfortable, provided plenty of space for all of us, and was well maintained. My children and I agreed we would all stay here again!

This made the perfect spot for a local getaway with my spouse and infant. The property itself is charming with mature landscaping, flowers, and a great outdoor space. The inside of the property has lovely historic charm with modern comforts and the host adds nice special touches. Its all of two blocks to all the tasting rooms and restaurants in downtown Carlton making it easy to keep the car parked for the weekend.

Ruth's Cottage will exceed your expectations. Sure, the photos are great. But the reality is even better! An amazing treasure of a home, with tasteful furnishings in every room. Ten-foot ceilings! And a short walk to town for great coffee and pastries, great wine, restaurants, and friendly folks. We didn't expect to be so wowed by Carlton! We hope to be back again before too long!

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the lovely city of Carlton, this is the place to stay. Less than a five minute walk from downtown for some good eats and fantastic wine tasting. The house itself is charming and relaxing, and the responses to any question or need are super quick. Highly recommend.

- Additional guest fee of $50/person/night for over two (2)
- Dog Fee of $100 per dog. Maximum of 2 dogs.
- At the time of booking, we require a deposit of 50% of the reservation total. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancelation Period: 30 days prior to arrival. If you cancel before 30 days, the total cost will be refunded to you (with the exception of the reservation fee). If the reservation is canceled within that time period, it is non-refundable.

Carlton is a cute, wine country town, located in the Yamhill Carlton AVA. If you like the small town feel, you will love it here.
