The Roosters Coop is an absolutely amazing property. This custom built home and gypsy horse farm is truly unique. The owners have thought of everything! The beds, linens, and pillows rival any high-end hotel weve ever stayed in. The kitchen is well-stocked. The outdoor living room with a fireplace, grill and hot tub makes for enjoyable evenings with family. The location of the home is far enough away to feel away from it all, yet close enough to visit the wineries, downtown Portland, and the coast. It was a truly idyllic experience. Waking up to sunrise views of Mt. Hood, a babbling creek, horses and hummingbirds was incredible. The owners, Blanche and Jack, were very hospitable, sharing tips on things to do and even brought us fresh eggs from their hen house. We cant wait to get back to Oregon and hope we have the chance to stay at the Roosters Coop again!

Charming home in a great location. Home is an easy drive to many wineries and conveniently located to walk to restaurants after a day out enjoying the Willamette Valley. Clean, well-appointed, and quiet.

Stayed for 4 days before we headed back East. It was our home-away-from-home with all the comforts. Kitchen had all the necessary items we needed, and the crockpot was especially appreciated. Came home to 2 wonderful meals already to eat. Everything was top-notchedbedrooms, baths, living room and a delightful deck. I would highly recommend it!!!!

The house is well-appointed and equally well decorated. The bedding and mattresses are 5 star hotel quality. (I actually came home and ordered the same sheets.) We wanted for nothing and our family of 10 enjoyed the views from the deck, leisurely meals and of course the area wineries. We also appreciated the great directions for recycling.

Incredible views from both windows and decks, quiet neighborhood location, great spaces for people to be together as well as to have private time, very clean kitchen well-stocked with dishes and cooking equipment.

We had a great time at the Carlton Farmhouse. We had a great time! The area is beautiful, the weather was great, the wine is delicious, the town has really good places to eat and is a perfect size. But, the house was the best part. One more time just for emphasis... We had a great time!
