Enjoy breakfast in the fully-stocked, remodeled kitchen. Kick back and relax in the open living space with hardwood floors, a personal piano, and a record player! Live it up on the back patio and have an outdoor barbeque in the summer evenings. You won't want to miss out on making those craft cocktails. Enjoy a soothing bath in the claw foot tub, and retreat to bed with luxurious bedding. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time at Ruth's Cottage. The attention to detail when designing this rental makes it a truly special spot to serve as home while exploring Oregon's Wine Country.
Ruth's Cottage offers a large queen bedroom with a vintage four-poster bed and a private en-suite bathroom. The home's TV lounge room offers a Roku streaming device and attached half bathroom. An additional double sofa sleeper is available to host up to two more guests. Best for children or one adult. When the Cottage is booked for four guests, we make up the sofa bed and provide additional towels, and amenities for all to enjoy.
The Cottage comes equipped with a washer and dryer that is available for guest use. We welcome guests traveling with up to two small dogs. The extremely private backyard is a lovely space to retreat to on those warm summer evenings. Now offering a new Weber propane BBQ and patio set in the summer of 2021!
Family items (baby gate, high chair, pack 'n play), yoga mats, air mattresses, and outdoor games (bocce ball, croquet) are available to rent upon request.

This was a gorgeous charming cottage. It reminded me of my home town county cork, Ireland. Very Irish in style. I was at home and cant wait to stay here again. I will be recommending this to many. If there were testers I will give it ten out of ten. Thank you for everything.

Lovely old house with beautiful wood floors & lots of windows. Wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed the yard more (it must be wonderful in Summer). Comfortable bed, very clean, nice kitchen with a lovely breakfast/dining nook.

Cute little home in a convenient location to Carlton restaurants, park, wineries, bakery, and grocery. Nice to have a half bath as well as a full bath. An easy trip back to McMinnville. The home was stocked with everything you need.

Within walking distance of the quaint Main Street in Carlton, this home served as the epicenter for our winery experiences across the Willamette Valley. If you are a couple that loves antiques, clawed footed cast iron bathtubs, wood floors, and a beautiful yard, this place is for you. It is well-appointed, clean, and roomy. Would definitely stay here again!

Ruths cottage was a darling house on the corner in a very quiet town. It had a nice big backyard. We did a lot of winetasting, and there are many many wineries in the area. Not just the tasting rooms in town all through the hillside. A couple of very nice restaurants as well.

The Lifestyle team was very professional, friendly and did everything they committed to do and did it well. From reservation to checkout the communication and technology was awesome. I had special requests for a 35 th wedding anniversary that involved a specific flower arrangement and chocolates. The team really delivered and kept me informed along the way. My wife and I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over decades. This team was the best by far.

Amazing cottage. Very clean, well decorated, good value and just two blocks from the Main Street with all the tasting rooms and restaurants in Carlton. We loved it and will be back for sure. We would be comfortable with an extended stay there for sure.

Basically did everything on line or texting so not a lot of direct contact but the website is easy to use emails timely and informative about check in and check out location of property, etc. Immediate responses to texts. I did call one time with a question and got a "human" which is not always possible with VRBO or Airbnb, they were super helpful. The special welcome wine and coffee are a nice touch too.

Ruth House is absolutely a PERFECT home away from home. The layout is open and airy with lots and lots of windows. Super clean and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a bag of local coffee too. The yard is well maintained with lots of beautiful flowers of every color and lots of big shade trees. The whole house has been beautifully remodeled with modern appliances but still has the historical feel with the antique furniture, clawfoot tub and other special touches. The fun part was playing old vinyl on the turntable hanging out in the evenings drinking wine. We loved the location the locals in Carlton are super friendly and this home is walkable to great restaurants and many wine tasting rooms. We will definitely return.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home The yard was beautiful and private, we enjoyed spending time out there with our pup. Very pet friendly property! Very well stocked kitchen with a few very cool touches, fresh local coffee and a bottle of wine! Location is awesome, walk to DT Carlton in just a few minutes to enjoy all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The cottage was delightful, nicely appointed with a very welcoming atmosphere. It was a wonderful mixture of modern and antique with quirky art and fixtures. The location couldn't be better after a day of wine tasting and within walking distance of dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

- Dog Fee of $100 per dog. Maximum of 2 dogs.
- At the time of booking, we require a deposit of 50% of the reservation total. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancelation Period: 30 days prior to arrival. If you cancel before 30 days, the total cost will be refunded to you (with the exception of the reservation fee). If the reservation is canceled within that time period, it is non-refundable.
