Welcome to the Jory Flat, the flagship suite at Amity Flats. Named after Oregon’s state soil, found throughout the Dundee Hills AVA, the Jory Flat embodies the essence of wine country—rooted in history, defined by its landscape, and elevated by modern comfort. Each of our Amity Flats suites is named after the distinct soils that nurture the vineyards of the Willamette Valley, celebrating the terroir that makes this region so extraordinary.
Located just east of town in the Eola Amity Hills, the Jory Flat offers easy access to more than 30 acclaimed wineries and countless picturesque vineyards. Below the flats, you’ll find The Bramble & Silas Wines tasting room, while Coelho Winery is right across the street. For those looking to explore further, a short drive or bike ride brings you to Antica Terra, one of the valley’s most inspiring wineries, or to the Brigittine Monks’ monastery—famous for their handmade, award winning chocolates.
More than a century ago, this very space served as a meeting hall for the local Masonic Lodge, where members gathered on a large raised platform overlooking the town. Today, guests of the Jory Flat enjoy a much more relaxing view—eastward toward the rolling Eola Amity Hills through beautifully restored windows. Inside, the suite’s blue, green, and gray palette creates an atmosphere of calm sophistication, blending antique details with modern comfort.
The semi private bedroom features a queen bed framed by a large east facing window, while the exposed brick wall adds a touch of vintage charm. The living room includes a plush sofa that converts to a double bed, and a rollaway bed can be added to accommodate up to five guests.
The bathroom, bathed in natural light from a south facing window, is a true highlight. It features both a classic clawfoot soaking tub and a walk in glass brick shower, combining timeless elegance with modern functionality.
The kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking, with a full size refrigerator, electric stovetop, microwave, and a French press stocked with local Caravan Coffee. A small dining table provides the perfect place to enjoy a quiet breakfast or share a bottle of wine from your day’s tastings.
Guests who prefer to avoid the stairs can use the convenient lift to access the flat—operating instructions are available in your digital guidebook and posted inside the lift.
Upstairs, the rooftop terrace invites you to relax and unwind. Enjoy a game of ping pong, share a glass of wine as the sun sets, or cook dinner on the BBQ grill while taking in the sweeping views of Amity and the surrounding countryside.

As we arrived into Amity we drove around back from the Main Street to the properties back parking lot. The grounds are clean and manicured nicely. This flat is perfectly located, restaurants wine or beer are within 1-3 blocks depending on what you want. Im a clean freak, I was very impressed by our flat, it was/is meticulously clean. The cleanliness & attention to every detail including design & comfortable furnishings, this property shows the pride of ownership and understanding of what guests want & need. As a guest I felt cared for by all the staff even tho we had never met. We were completely relaxed on our getaway and appreciated every detail. Thank you for sharing with us your amazingly renovated historic property.

The space was perfect for our quick weekend trip to the McMinnville area. The bottle of wine was a great touch from the property, complimentary coffee was delicious. But if like me youre a light sleeper- Please note, this loft is on a busy highway.

The Jory flat is lovely - spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay immensely - such a lovely place to stay in Amity. The location is very convenient to the wide variety of Willamette valley attractions.

- Standard Check-out is at 11:00 AM
- Please inquire to request early check-in or late check-out.
- At the time of booking, we require a deposit of 50% of the reservation total. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellation Period: 30 days prior to arrival. If you cancel before 30 days, the total cost will be refunded to you (with the exception of the reservation fee). If the reservation is canceled within that time period, it is non-refundable.
